Associations

On the face of it, building a product name out of your company's name, the concept of "best", and also a concept reminiscent of the product itself, seems clever.

But on the other hand, a lot of people don't necessarily have positive associations with your product's chief composite, asbestos. It might not be so bright to remind them of how it is made.

Just a suggestion.

In fairness, they may have started that company back when asbestos was still a miracle material. Does Raybestos predate Love Canal? I think the name of this actual item goes farther to show they're not too bright. Sure, they've spent a lot of money and time building the brand Raybestos, and maybe that's reason enough to keep it around.. But they must be able to shake "Raymold". What the hell is a "Raymold" anyway?
