WEP is too hard

WEP is too hard for normal people to set up. I know this because I am currently stealing unsecured wireless bandwidth from my Mom's next door neighbor, a normal person for whom WEP was (obviously) too hard to set up.

One of our house guests this weekend spent 3 hours trying to connect to our WEP. He's a software developer who should have had an easier time (the key is written on the bottom of the access point). I felt badly for him, except that every time I have to reconnect one of my computers to our wireless network (because of lost settings or whate have you) it takes me at least an hour.

I'll take "abnormal", it seems the least perjorative. :)
